History

This 3,000 square foot Spanish style home was built in 1985 and sits atop one of the highest hills in Austin County with vistas of over 20 miles. Surrounded by majestic live oaks estimated to be over 200 years old, this historic location was a gathering point for area cattle ranchers who would drive their cattle to market along the Chisholm Trail.

The home is two story stucco and has two bedrooms and one bath downstairs and the master suite and bath upstairs. A large dining area with seating for 12 opens into the living room which features a wood burning fireplace and a wet bar. The breakfast room opens up onto the partially covered patio, complete with cantera stone fountain.

This truly unique setting is a perfect venue for small outdoor weddings or gathering of friend. The tree shaded back yard overlooks two bass filled ponds and gives guests a view of a large portion of the ranch.
