Texas Ranch Life has hosted corporate retreats from small groups of 10 up to groups of 84.
A partial list of our corporate guests include HP/Compaq, Wells Fargo Bank, ISP Sports, Camden Property Trust, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Citysearch, IHG Logistics, Canzion Records, Greater Houston Partnership’s Center For Houston’s Future and Big Night Ventures. Our guests have consistently left with a feeling of accomplishment, direction and clear goals for the future. With 1800 acres of scenic countryside there is plenty of room to bond with your co-workers or to break away alone and let the creative juices flow.
Meeting Space - Depending upon the size of the group, meetings can be held in the Lodge greatroom, the Barn alley, tack room or kitchen area, and the newly restored 1910 chapel which will hold up to 80 people. Meeting space can be set up in a format to meet the needs of your size group. Computer, copy and fax equipment is available as is projector screen.
Meals - A complete list of caterers offering a wide variety of choices is available. Our chuckwagon steak dinner cooked over an open campfire is popular as an evening meal. A continental breakfast is part of our guest package but can be upgraded to to full breakfast. Coffee, soft drinks and snacks throughout the day can also be provided.
Housing - With luxury accommodations in a quiet, peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, our corporate guests are able to think clearly and focus on the agenda at hand. Over twenty bedrooms located in seven homes around the ranch offer privacy and comfort. Luxury linens, spa robes and complete kitchens add to the feeling of home. For guests wanting to “rough it” we even have had guys elect to camp out in sleeping bags around the campfire.
Team Building - A wide variety of activities are available for team building and entertainment. These include horseback riding, either open range or in the covered arena, skeet shooting, fishing, cattle work, mechanical bull riding, scavenger hunts, tomahawk and knife throwing, and instruction in roping, bullwhip cracking and cutting. |
